Madeleine Cella is a writer, director, and actor based in Brooklyn, NY. She studied theater and film at New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, where she graduated with BFAs in Drama and History. While there, she completed coursework at Playwrights Horizons Theater School and Stonestreet Studios. Following her graduation from NYU, she obtained a Master’s degree at the American University in Paris in International Law and Diplomacy. While at AUP, Madeleine filmed, directed, and produced a feature-length documentary, L’Apres Cours, on behalf of the university’s Civic Media Lab. In addition, Madeleine produced and edited a podcast on international affairs in collaboration with her colleagues and professors.
Since obtaining her Master’s degree, Madeleine has taken classes in audio production, audio storytelling, and radio. Prior to joining Yale Entertainment as an administrative assistant in 2023, Madeleine worked for several years as a communications specialist for Strong Force LLC.
