Doug Brown

Head of Operations

Doug Brown, a New York native, started his film career in 2011 after serving as a sergeant in the U.S. Army for six years. In 2012 he moved to Los Angeles, where he began working for SpectreVision, in the physical production department. After working as a Co-Producer on the companies’ first film Cooties he was promoted to Production Executive. In 2015 after being a Producer on The Boy for SpectreVision, Doug left the company to work as a special effects makeup Project Coordinator for Illusion Industries. He worked on such films as; Ouija Origins of Evil, The Manor, and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre.

Doug has had a career filled with many experiences, from serving two tours in the Iraq war, managing physical production in the U.S. and abroad, and creating and delivering complicated makeup effects. He brings these experiences and management skills to his role as Head of Operations for Yale Productions.
