Garrett Hedlund Kidnapping Thriller ‘Barron’s Cove’ Acquired by Well Go USA Entertainment

Well Go USA Entertainment has acquired North American rights to “Barron’s Cove,” a kidnapping crime drama with Garrett Hedlund, Stephen Lang, Brittany Snow and Hamish Linklater. The film was written and directed by Evan Ari Kelman and had its world premiere at the Hamptons International Film Festival. It will debut this summer.

“Barron’s Cove” follows a father with a violent past (Hedlund) who is grieving the death of his only child. Convinced of a cover-up, he kidnaps the troubled boy he holds responsible – the son of a prominent local politician. The move ignites a massive manhunt. But as Hedlund’s character grows closer to uncovering the truth, he starts to wonder if his pursuers are trying to protect the boy or the secrets he keeps. Christian Convery, Raúl Castillo, Tramell Tillman, Marc Menchaca and John D. Hickman round out the cast.
